After two weeks at Rincon Country West RV Resort

We are moving on to Catalina State Park NE of Tucson - just a 45 min drive - to-day. I would recommend the Rincon Country West RV Resort  to anyone (like us) who enjoys being involved in the many activities that have fantastic volunteer support.
Two humorous stories. A lady called Barbara who organizes the friendly bridge told us she had just acquired her 19th Great Grandchild. Many people here are quite ancient but when I asked her how old she was she was the same age as me! She told me she had three children and her husband had had three children. They had 12 Grandchildren between them but now 19 Great Grandchildren. Extraordinary - but if you do the math the Grandchildren only need to have an average of less than two children each.
Another story - I went cycling with a group of six. Before we started one of the members fell off, then another fell off after getting a piece of wire stuck in his wheel and then a third fell off when his bike wheel got trapped in a tram line! We had coffee together. An enjoyable comic group. There was not a lot of interest in talking about the president elect - everyone seems to be just waiting to see what is really going to happen with the Republican majorities in the US Senate and US House of Representatives. One member said that the last time the Republicans dominated both houses was 1929 before the great economic crash.

Here is Lucy's Limousine with its Christmas lights.
